Company Search

Company Search is the default setting for the Top Line Search Bar input field.  As users begin typing a company name, Refinitiv Loan Connector (LC) immediately provides an alphabetized drop down list of companies whose names match the entered text.  Select the desired company and click on the search button (magnifying glass icon) to return all results for that company.

Results

Company Matches

This section provides links relevant information for any companies matching the text you selected.  This allows you to disambiguate any similarly named companies or subsidiaries.  For example, searching for "General Motors Acceptance Corp." will provide links to General Motors Acceptance Corp, General Motors Acceptance Corp Plc, General Motors Acceptance Corp of Canada Ltd and General Motors Acceptance Corp Australia.  For most companies, this will return one link for the company searched.

For each matching company, links are provided to the Company Page, News & Analytics, Instruments, Ratings and Loan Details/Docs.

Document Type Filters & Results

This section provides access to all news & analytics for matching companies.  By default, only News is displayed, but the column on the left allows users to quickly add or remove story or analytic types.  By checking or unchecking the boxes next to the information type, the box on the right will adjust to display only the requested data.  Results are grouped in bunches of 30, with quick, paginated navigation available in the upper right of the right hand box.
